Johnny Come Lately

So, it seems like everybody and their brother has a Weblog these days.

I used to think that people that blogged were either full of themselves or actually hadsomething important to say. Most bloggers fell into the category of "who cares".

Now, I understand that blogging is the new way&trade of the web. I mean, you can hardly get a decent position on Google[1] without being mobbed-up in the blogging scene. It’s a friggin’ pyramid schema, I tell you. What’s the first thing everybody does? They get several of their friends interested in blogging, and they all link to each other’s sites. Then, anyone who reads any of their blogs pretty much gets sucked into the whole ring of blogs.

Well, anyway, in an effort to avoid becoming obselete in these heady days of blogs on the intarweb, I have decided to jump in with both feet. I hope you enjoy reading the mindless drivel that I write.

I’ll hit a lot of random topics, but you’ll find that I often return to many of the same things: software development, Java stuff, Politics, and things that generally piss me off. Not coincidentally, these topics usually overlap.

Enjoy,
-chris

Congratulations! You have been promoted to Lemming, 1st Class! As an added bonus, you will receive a Purple Gib award for all the times you’ve been fragged in Unreal Tournament.

Dammit to hell! Do I need to start one of these B-Log things too? Will you lower your consulting fee if I link to yours?

    Welcome to all!!
I would have to say that my blog originally started because of the “full of themselves” reason, but it restarted as a way to process a life that actually had stress in it and I couldn’t fly totally by the seat of my pants…what a concept!
Anywho, I’ve been a little AWOL lately with it, but that will pick up again now that I have time this summer!!
P.S. 4th of July in DC to anywho who wants to come!
